Therapeutic Light Within a Complete Care Plan
Deep tissue laser therapy uses selected wavelengths of light delivered to a targeted area. At Vector Spine and Sport, it is considered an adjunct—not a replacement for examination, diagnosis, or an appropriate movement and recovery plan.
An adjunct for selected musculoskeletal conditions.
Laser therapy may be considered for selected painful or irritated joints, muscles, tendons, sprains, strains, and recovery needs. Evidence and expected benefit vary by condition, device, dose, and protocol.

Review
The treatment area, health history, contraindications, goals, and place of laser therapy within the plan are reviewed.
Protect
Appropriate protective eyewear is used, and the device is applied according to the selected protocol.
Reassess
Symptoms and function are monitored. Treatment is adjusted or discontinued when the expected progress is not occurring.
No universal percentages or guaranteed outcomes.
Research findings cannot be applied equally to every diagnosis, device, dose, or patient. Recommendations should be condition-specific, and results should be evaluated using meaningful symptoms and function.
