Understand the Problem Before Treating It

Chiropractic care at Vector Spine and Sport begins with an examination – not an automatic adjustment. Dr. Jacob Reesor evaluates how joints, muscles, nerves, and movement patterns may be contributing to your symptoms. Personalized care without required long-term packages.

When to consider an evaluation

Care for movement-related pain and limitation.

An evaluation may be appropriate when pain, stiffness, or restricted movement affects work, sleep, training, driving, or daily life.

  • Back or neck pain

  • Joint stiffness

  • Certain headaches associated with the neck

  • Sciatica-type symptoms

  • Sports strains and sprains

  • Posture or movement limitations

  • Disc-related symptoms requiring assessment

  • Shoulder, hip, knee, or extremity complaints

YOUR VISIT

A Measured, Consent-Based Process

History and examination

We discuss your symptoms, health history, goals, and relevant risks. Testing may include orthopedic, neurological, range-of-motion, movement, and soft-tissue assessment.

Findings and options

Dr. Reesor explains what the examination suggests, whether chiropractic care is appropriate, and which alternatives or referrals should be considered.

Treatment and progress

Care may include manipulation, mobilization, flexion-distraction, soft-tissue work, movement guidance, or selected adjunct services. Progress is reviewed against functional goals.

SAFETY

Chiropractic care is not appropriate for every patient.

Dr. Reesor screens for conditions that may require a modified approach, imaging, medical co-management, or referral. These may include fracture, severe osteoporosis, infection, malignancy, significant neurological findings, or other clinical concerns.

Important: New severe weakness, loss of bowel or bladder control, saddle numbness, chest pain, major trauma, or other emergency symptoms require urgent medical evaluation.
